How the Dog Home Boarding Process Works

Registration
We’ll come to your home to meet you and your dog/s and find out all about them.
Their feeding and exercise routines, their likes and dislikes (such as whether your dog hates a sweeping brush or barks at the postman), any medical requirements and any other little quirks they have.
We’ll use all of this information to match a Pawfect Host to look after your pet whilst you’re away. The majority of dogs stay in our home but we also have hosts who you may look after your dog, we’ll discuss all this at the meeting and you’ll know exactly where your dog is staying. You can meet the host too if you prefer.

Host Matching
Finding a happy holiday home with the Pawfect Host is our goal. Many dogs stay with us, in our family home, but we also have host familes who can look after your dog too. All our hosts are carefully inspected by us, as well as licensed by the council and fully insured.
Every host is very special. Some are active, retired people who love dogs most of whom have owned their own dogs in the past. Others are families who enjoy a dog visiting for a holiday as it’s great fun for all the family, but cannot commit to full-time dog ownership.
We’ll use the information gathered during registration to match your dog with the Pawfect Hosts.

Ready for a Pawfect Adventure
When the day comes to start their Pawfect Adventure, we’ll collect and chauffeur your dog in our comfortable air-conditioned van and drop him off at his holiday home. When your holiday is over, we’ll pick him up and drop him back at your house where you’ll be greeted with a happy and excited pup who’s had a great holiday!
Before we pick him up, just pack a doggy bag for his stay with all his essentials such as his bed, favourite toys and food and we’ll take his home comforts with him to his holiday home.

Keep in Touch
If you’d like to keep in contact with us during your time apart, we can provide regular texts or calls during your time away.
We’ll send lots of photos of your dog, having lots of fun, to give you complete peace of mind. I know if my dog was staying somewhere else, I’d want lots of contact so that’s what I’ll do!
